Message First off, with a little manipulation, the universal loop should fit just after the outupt of the driveshaft from the trans. I've seen a bunch of them set up as such. You should be able to bolt the top part of the loop to the tunnel and fenegal the rest of it to fit in that area, since that's what tech calls for in terms of positioning. As Eisho said, a muffler shop can pretty easily fab one up for you if you can't make the universal one fit. The last "trick" is to tell the tech people that you have one...you actually do as the driveshaft can't drop to the ground if it breaks loose from the trans because of the exhaust positioning (ie. the exhaust acts as a driveshaft "keeper upper". The deal is, unless they crawl under your car with a flashlight and mirror, they can't tell if you have one or not. One last trick, is to show up with street tires, and put your slicks (that's when tech requires a driveshaft loop) on after you tech in on street tires. But to repeat, the universal one should be able to work (there are a few of them, so maybe you got one that is a bitch to get in the driveshaft tunnel). Last I looked at the NHRA rules, a loop was only required when running full slicks, that may have changed recently. Hope that is of some help, Mark
